The Korte Company was awarded a construction contract for a six-story, 284 room Visitor’s Quarters at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. When completed in the fall of 2017, the 170,000 square foot facility is designed to be USGBC LEED Certified Silver.
The guest rooms include many of the amenities as a hotel room, including a bed, desk, closet, as well as a microwave and refrigerator. Business suites, located on the upper floors, are larger and have additional square footage for an in-room washer and dryer.
The facility also includes a fitness area, conference rooms, retail shops, business center, administrative offices, an outdoor patio and an on-site laundry.
