At The Korte Company, we take pride in building for our neighbors and our community. This clinic construction project is right in our backyard and is important to the community around us. We’re proud to once again build for Anderson Hospital.
The Anderson Hospital Express Care facility operates as a Satellite Urgent Care Patient clinic. We designed the single-story masonry structure to provide important services to the Collinsville community while maintaining the scale and character of the surrounding residential neighborhood.
The clinic provides six private urgent care exam rooms for the evaluation and treatment of patients who have minor emergent conditions. Our team designed each exam room so providers could both triage and treat patients, and we equipped the rooms with electronic medical records charting stations.
The facility also includes a minor procedure room to address patient issues of greater severity. And a separate emergency medical technician exit sits away from the public entrance in the event a patient must be transferred to nearby Anderson Hospital. To support urgent care functions, the facility includes basic support services, such as record charting and provider and clinician offices.
In addition to primary care functions, the facility houses a satellite lab to handle basic blood draw functions and two-specimen toilets for drug and urine testing. The facility also includes a general radiographic room housing an X-ray machine used to diagnose patients.
