The Beale Air Force Base Child Development Center near Yuba City, California is a new 37,000-square-foot facility that we delivered after demolishing an older, worn-down 10,000-square-foot building.
The Child Development Center is a single-story facility that includes a children’s outdoor play area, an area for the care of sick children, and activity rooms for infants, pre-toddlers, toddlers and preschool children.
We also designed and built a reception area, bathrooms, administrative offices, break and training rooms, and support areas with laundry and storage room. We designed all buildings to Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection standards. And this facility is one of the most energy-efficient facilities of its kind, earning U.S. Green Building Council LEED Gold certification.
