We coordinate school construction projects through all phases to match up with schools’ budgets and timelines. And we value engineer construction savings directly into the design.
The end result? Flexible schools that meet the needs of students, teachers, administrators and the community — all within a budget. In this Design-Build learning center project, we provided savings and rapid construction delivery.
The Department of the Army, Morale, Welfare and Recreation selected The Korte Company as the Design-Builder for the new Teen Center at Ft. Meade near Baltimore, Maryland. The 5,200-square-foot facility includes a game room, fitness center, computer room, multipurpose rooms, administration offices and a snack bar with a small residential kitchen. Other features include a concrete masonry unit bearing with exposed and concealed wood trusses, a shingle roof, and a brick and split-faced block veneer.
We’re proud to build not only for the students and families on military bases but also for school districts across the U.S. Learn more about school construction at The Korte Company.
