We handled the architectural design and construction of the Fort Shafter Youth Center on the island of Honolulu. The 16,674-square-foot building provides safe, supervised, healthy, accountable and age-appropriate activities for children and teens between the ages of six and 18 years old. The design includes a homework center, activity rooms, multi-purpose area, teen area, kitchen prep and culinary arts area, common area, stage, restrooms, classrooms, lounge, administrative areas and play court. We designed and built learning and fun directly into the facility.
