In North Las Vegas, The Korte Company helped LSA Development LLC transform an 18.5-acre site into a 341,254-square-foot distribution facility. The existing site had to be lowered 5 feet and required extensive improvements prior to construction.
Along with the export of 45,000 cubic yards of soil, several hundred cubic yards of hard dig caliche sedimentary rock also had to be removed. The facility’s construction included 120 separate Tilt-Up concrete panels.
Additionally, the scope of work included street improvements to the adjacent streets bordering the southern and western boundaries of the site.
The facility was designed specifically for high clearance and accessibility with a 32-foot clear story. The design also includes 16,375 square feet of future office space availability, four ramps and all dock areas set at 4 feet above grade.
