The Korte Company was awarded this project through Union Pacific, one of America’s most recognized companies. The UP Railroad connects 23 states in the western portion of the country by rail provides a critical link in supporting our nation’s infrastructure.
The 12,136-square-foot maintenance facility shop was a Butler pre-engineered building with a CMU veneer face. Interior space included a locker room, break room, lunch room, technology room and office/administration space.
The scope of work also included site improvements including a parking area, landscaping, site lighting, and an adjacent mechanical yard. The scope also included the installation of sanitary sewer, water and gas lines as well as communication and power conduit.
